Tune in for the Songs that Started it All this Week on Come by the Hills!

Yes, it's another opening of another show here on Mushroom FM, and in honour of my first Celtic music show this week, I'm going to be playing some of the songs that started it all for me, the songs which began my journey into this diverse and wonderful genre.

We'll hear from such leading musical lights as: Loreena McKennitt, The Cheiftains, Steeleye Span and others, and of course we'll have our features.

We'll have a Welsh song in our "What's That About?" section, as well as two fantastic fiddle tunes from Canada in "Fiddlin' Around." Finally, if you ever wanted to hear what a Celtic version of a song by The Lovin' Spoonfull sounds like, then you won't want to miss "Celtic Covers!"
