Remembering Chuck Negron of three dog Night this week on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
It's a 10-year musical window from 1965-75 this week as I remember Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night who passed away February 2, 2026, at the age of 83. He was one of the band's three lead singers along with Danny Hutton and Cory Wells and the band charted 21 songs between 1969 and 1975, all of which made the top 40, an unusual feat. You'll hear them all.
