Movie 1: Hereditary (2018)
Hereditary is a chilling psychological horror directed by Ari Aster in his feature debut, widely acclaimed for its unsettling atmosphere and powerful performances.
The story follows the Graham family as they grapple with grief after the death of their secretive grandmother. Annie, an artist and mother, begins to uncover
disturbing truths about their ancestry, while strange and terrifying occurrences plague the family. As the horrors escalate, the Grahams are drawn into
a nightmarish fate that seems impossible to escape.
Praised for its slow-building dread, shocking imagery, and Toni Collette’s extraordinary performance, Hereditary has been described as one of the most
terrifying films of the 21st century. With its themes of inherited trauma, fate, and the breakdown of family, it quickly became a modern classic of the
horror genre.

Movie 2: Sinister (2012)
Sinister is a supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson, blending investigative mystery with deeply disturbing paranormal terror.
The story follows true-crime writer Ellison Oswalt, who moves his family into a new home in search of inspiration for his next book. In the attic, he discovers
a box of old home movies depicting horrific murders committed by unknown perpetrators. As he digs deeper, Ellison realises that the murders are connected
to a malevolent pagan entity that feeds on the souls of children—and that his own family may be next in line.
Known for its nerve-shredding atmosphere, terrifying imagery, and clever use of found-footage within the narrative, Sinister is often cited as one of the
scariest films of the decade. Its blending of crime, mystery, and the supernatural keeps viewers gripped from start to finish.
