It's the final edition of The Early Years this week on Mushroom FM!

After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
It's the final edition of The Early Years this week.
Most of the music is all from one year of that first quarter century of rock as I finish the theme I started seven weeks ago, songs that didn't make the top 100 year-end chart of 1964. I'll pick it up in November where I finished last week's show and finish in December with a number one song by the greatest Motown girls group in history.
The last surviving member of The Band, Garth Hudson, died this past Tuesday. He was the group's primary music arranger and I will play one song in tribute to him that he arranged and made his own, influenced by his classical music training and J.S. Bach.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for the final edition of The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories for the last time remembering songs that didn't make the top 100 year-end chart of 1964 and pay tribute to Garth Hudson, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring late 70s rock one hit wonders, followed by his #1 Music show, playing #1 songs on the Billboard hot 100, hot country and R&B charts this time of year between 1960 and 1989. The Early Years will replay one last time Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
