It's a Labour of Love, this Week on Come by the Hills!

Greetings and salutations! I'm just popping onto your screen to let you know about this week's live edition of Come by the Hills! In honour of the North American version of Labour Day, which is always the first Monday in September, I'll have songs featuring various occupations: miners, fishermen, weavers, truck-drivers, chimney-sweeps, ploughmen, farmers and anything else I (or you, for that matter) can think of. We'll also be hearing an audiodrama that a listener told me about featuring the heroine of one of the songs we played last week. Wherever we end up when all is said and done, it promises to be a fun time!
