The top 100 of 1963 concludes, a very special tribute, and songs that didn't make the top 100 of 1963 on the Early Years!
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with nods to other decades and genres.
I will finish the count down of the top 100 of 1963 as tabulated by Billboard Magazine. Last week, I got from #42 to #17. This week, I'll pick it up at #16 and continue to #1. What will it be? You'll have tu listen to find out.
After that, I'll play one song in memory of Nancy's "big brother" who passed away on Monday at the age of 85.
Then, I'll return to 1963 and play songs that didn't make the top 100 of the year.
When I talk to you next week, it will be my 74th birthday so I'll be having a musical party to which you're invited. If you have a song or songs appropriate for the occasion, get them to me as soon as possible and I'll include them on the party playlist. No Halloween songs please!
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
