Taking a Break

Hello! Sara Hillis here to let you know that, unfortunately, I need to take a hopefully short break from doing Mushroom things. I just found out last evening that my father has died, and I can tell you right now that I just can't summon the energy to do the radio host thing at the moment. I barely managed to record today's show, but it was difficult. So, I hope to be back with you on Monday for Sara Smiles, but we'll see how my sleep is affected going forward and such.

I am posting a Come by the hills episode from the archives, sort of dedicated to my Dad, as he really liked Stompin' Tom Connors, the troubador of Canada. So, I thought I'd post the 2022 Canada Day episode for your enjoyment this weekend. Also, you can stay tuned after Come by the Hills for more Canadiana, as Steve Cutway dedicates part of his show to the late Ian Tyson. He'll have a lot to say about him as well as playing some of his favourite Ian songs.

I was already not going to be able to do a live version of Come by the Hills this week because of church obligations on Saturday, but I had planned to do something new. I'm sorry I can't do that now, but I thank you for listening and I hope you'll enjoy this encore presentation from July 2, 2022.
