80th birthday celebrations continue this week on The Early Years!

After you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's 12-hour celebration of Sir Paul McCartney's 80th birthday tomorrow, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years.
Sir Paul McCartney isn't the only musician celebrating an 80th birthday this week. Brian Wilson, leader of the Beach Boys and a solo artist, turns 80 on Monday.
Longtime Early Years listeners know that The Beach Boys are my favourite band so I can't think of a better reason than an 80th birthday celebration to focus on them this week. I will present a chronological survey of their hits from March 1962 to November 1964 along with some album tracks that I like or find interesting. I will continue this survey next week.
