A musical anniversary gift and more version comparisons this week on the Early Years!

Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier opinion show, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered and all your opinions get heard, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Although Mosen At Large airs at 02:00 PM in Eastern North America, Mushroom FM's official time zone, it will already be Sunday morning in Wellington, New Zealand. Six years ago that day, Jonathan and Bonnie were married. I'll begin this week's show with a musical anniversary gift including a song from well beyond the four decades of music that Mushroom FM normally plays but which I think is appropriate for the occasion. It will flow smoothly back to version comparisons with a song that Jonathan says is also significant and meaningful.
There will be no other nods to other decades and genres as I move toward the end of the time sweep of version comparisons. This is part 17 and I hope to wind it up next week or the week after and then move on to something else, probably the top 100 of 1961, 60 years ago.
I'll mark an anniversary of my own on Wednesday, the day the show replays. Five years ago on June 30, 2016, I was invited to become a Mushroom FM fun guy. And I'm still here!
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years for more version comparisons including a musical anniversary gift to Bonnie and Jonathan on their 6th wedding anniversary, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
