A Supremes survey this week on The Early Years!

Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier opinion show, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered and all your opinions get heard, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
The latest songs you'll hear this week are from July 1970 as I pay tribute to two more artists who left us recently, James Burke of The Five Stairsteps and Mary Wilson of The Supremes, who would have turned 77 tomorrow had she lived.
The Supremes were the most successful Motown Records group and the most successful girl group in American music history. During the next two shows, I will play every one of their 45 charting singles from 1962-77 plus some early songs that didn't chart but illustrate their beginnings. I'll get to November 1968 and their #1 hit that month and pick up the survey in January 1969 next week when they got some help from another well-known Motown Records group.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
