Remembering Bonnie Pointer and more songs about days of the week on The Early Years this week!

Affter you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's still new premier tech magazine show, Mosen At Large, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00 PM, during which I hope all your tech questions get answered, don't touch that dial and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's more than an occasional nod to other genres as "eclectic" is the word I'd use to describe the music on this week's show; everything from pop and rock to blues, country, folk and jazz with possibly the least amount of hit material I've played in the almost four years The Early Years has been running.
I continue the theme that I started three weeks ago called "Nancy's Theme" because it was suggested and mostly researched by my wife of 49 years, Nancy. If you've been with me for the past three shows, you know what it is, songs about days of the week.
I finished songs about Sunday and Monday last week but listeners suggested more songs about those two days which you'll hear this week. Then I'll continue with Tuesday including a couple more songs I thought of before moving on to Wednesday and Thursday songs.
But before I do any of that, I'll remember Bonnie Pointer who passed away last Monday at the young age of 69.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly songs about days of the week; and anything else as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00 PM, for more songs about days of the week and other things, after The Mosen Explosion and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after "Deep Dive" with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
