Like a bridge over troubled water, we will span the Depths
Greetings fellow music travelers.
This week marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Simon and Garfunkel's masterpiece album, "Bridge over Troubled Water."
Throughout the night, we will hear some different takes on classic Paul Simon tunes and, in the fourth hour, we will visit a sold-out Carnegie Hall in 1969 where Simon and Garfunkel perform songs from the album a full two months before its release.
Along the way, we'll encounter rare tracks from classic artists who are touring this Summer such as steely Dan, Steve Winwood and Hall and Oates.
If that isn't enough, and why should it be, there are lots of other ear-pleasing surprises to enjoy on our musical journey.
So, open your ears and your mind to the unfamiliar, and come aboard our trip through The Depths; starting promptly at 11:00 PM Eastern immediately following The Snowman.
You can hear it again on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM Eastern.
