The CBS Radio Mystery Theater Comes to Mushroom Escape
One of the most-requested shows for Mushroom Escape has been the CBS Radio Mystery Theater, which ran on CBS from 1974 through 1982, and which produced over thirteen hundred new programs. A lot of people still remember this program from when they were younger, and for many, it was their first introduction to radio drama. Not surprisingly then, many people have requested that we add it.
We here at Mushroom Escape do try to listen, and are pleased to announce that the CBS Radio Mystery Theater will, starting August 12, be a regular part of our Monday lineup. The program will air Mondays at 1:00, 5:00, and 9:00 AM and PM Eastern Time.
In order to accomodate the program, we have removed two programs that were nearing or at the end of their run, and moved two others. Therefore, Destination Freedom and Lord Peter Wimsey will no longer be airing on Mushroom FM; Fibber McGee and Molly moves to Tuesdays at 3:30, 7:30, and 11:30 AM/PM Eatern; Richard Diamond, Private Detective moves to Fridays at 2:30, 6:30, and 10:30 AM/PM Eastern Time.
We hope you enjoy CBS Radio Mystery Theater, and stay tuned for more great new content in the future. Thank you for listening to Mushroom Escape.
