It's a fab, telephonically enhanced, Mosen Explosion
Yet again, I’m back for another four hours of great music and conversation as we all get together for The Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM.
If you’ve been listening to the show over the last couple of weeks, you will have heard me make mention of the fact that the provider of our listener line appears to have bitten the dust. And sure enough, ahead of last week’s show, the number stopped working, seemingly never to work again. It has ceased to be. Aw.
But in the face of great adversity comes great triumph, as we bring you a new listener line with a more easily-remembered phone number, and I believe better audio quality. Tremendous! So if phoning into the show is your thing, I shall reveal to you now the new and improved way to get in touch with the Mosen Explosion. Are you ready? OK good. Shall I tell you now? Right. You sure you’re ready? OK. It’s still a US number, and it is 864-606-6736. Or if you like word numbers, that only just happens to equal 864-60Mosen. Dude!
You can call that line and leave a message for the show, or of course you can engage via Twitter using the MushroomFM hashtag, or email me with an audio clip or something written down. It’s amazing what you blind people can do, you’re an inspiration!
On the show this week, a number of fab things have come into alignment. Sir Ringo’s birthday will be on 7 July, which of course it will be when the show goes out in New Zealand. The 6th of July is the anniversary of the day John met Paul, and it’s also the anniversary of the British premier of the movie A Hard Day’s Night. So, I thought we’d make the Beatles our featured artist, and you can request a favourite Beatles song if you feel inclined. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Bonnie will be here with her bulletin, and we’ll go back to look at this day in history.
I would love it if you joined me at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK on Saturday, which is 6 AM in New Zealand on Sunday, only on the home of the fun guys, Mushroom FM.
