70s Summer songs this week on The Early Years!

Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
June has busted out all over, to paraphrase the song; in fact, it's almost done doing that. Summer is truly here where I live, now that school is out, even if it was out for me 47 years ago! (Is there anything else that defines summer so perfectly?)
Last week, I saluted Summer in the Northern Hemisphere and Winter in the Southern. This week, it's all about Summer with 70s Summer songs, or Summer songs in the 70s. (Jonathan is rubbing off on me, friends.) Many songs you'll know but I think I have some you won't; and I have one that for me qualifies as a jaw-dropping song.
