Announcing our new epic rockumentary series, "The Lost Lennon Tapes"
Our 26-episode rockumentary, "Ringo's yellow Submarine" has now concluded. So it's time to unveil the next rockumentary to occupy the 2 PM Saturday and 1 AM Monday slot. If you're a Beatles fan, you'll want to stay tuned.
Elliot Mintz was a long-time friend of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and remained friends with Yoko after John's assassination in 1980. Beginning in 1988, Yoko gave Elliot access to a vast archive of tapes never before heard by the public. While some have subsequently been released publicly, many are still rare. This series, which ran for over two years, was known as "The Lost Lennon Tapes", and we have the entire series for you on Mushroom Fm.
The rockumentary begins with a three-hour introductory special, which we'll be running starting at the usual time for the Rockumentary, Saturday at 2 Pm Eastern, Monday at 1 AM Eastern. As a result, Juke in the Back will play this Saturday only at the later time of 5 PM Eastern, and next Monday, Thunder Road and the Smorgasbord will only be heard on their PM slots. The three-hour launch of this incredible series includes an introduction from Yoko.
If you have an interest in John Lennon and the Beatles, this series, which we'll be running over the next two years, will be something you will not want to miss.
Join us for The Lost Lennon Tapes, beginning this weekend, Saturday at 2 Pm Eastern, Monday at 1 AM Eastern, only on Mushroom Fm.
