Thanks for a great countdown and party

On 17 December 2017, we broadcast our holiday countdown and Christmas party. It was the culmination of a two-week voting process, in which voters nominated over 200 of their favourite holiday songs.

On that Sunday, we all got together to hear the top 100, and to share some holiday cheer via email and Twitter. Thanks to everyone's participation, it was an unforgettable day, a party in true Mushroom FM tradition.

Thank you to everyone who made this event so memorable. The response and the goodwill was truly special, and we look forward to earning your listenership through more great programming in the coming year.

If you couldn't stick around for all 10 hours, you have a couple of options.

First, we'll be rerunning the entire countdown between 1 AM and 11 AM Eastern US time on Christmas day.

We've also had requests from listeners for the two songs from fun guys who made the chart this year. Links to them both are now right on our Home Page at MushroomFm.com, and will stay there over the next couple of weeks. Be sure to grab the free downloads for your collection.

There were many great songs that didn't make it to the countdown this year. Once again, we'll be playing some of those songs in a special show we're calling Christmas Cast-offs. It will air twice, first on Tuesday 19 December between 5 AM and 9 AM Eastern time, and it will be repeated in the regular Mosen Explosion slot on Christmas eve between 2 PM and 6 PM.
