On this week's Mosen Explosion, it's time
Time goes by so slowly, and time can do so much. A week is a long time in politics. Time heals all wounds. Ah, time. It plays such a big role in our lives. And at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, it’s time, yet again, for another epic Mosen Explosion.
I’ve got plenty of time for your conversation via Twitter, email, and the phone. We’ll even take some time to play you a song. And our theme this week, in case you haven’t had sufficient time to work it out, is time. This is inspired by all the craziness with clocks going forward and back at this time of year, and also by the fact that on 22 Roctober 1884, the International Meridian Conference in Washington, D.C. adopted GMT and the system of time zones we now know. Amazing, eh? So we’ll play some songs about time and the clock to celebrate.
We’re also at the 55th anniversary of the scary Cuban Missile crisis, so we’ll play some audio from that dramatic period.
Bonnie will be here with her bulletin, there’s plenty of other history to tell you about, and basically, we’re going to have four captivating hours of great music and conversation.
I hope you have time to join us, right after Jeff who is filling in for Darren this week, at 2 PM Eastern time, 7 PM UK time, only on the magic Mushroom FM.
