Back from across the ditch, it's the Mosen Explosion! And go Team new Zealand!
As I write this wee promotional message in a desperate attempt to encourage you to choose the Mosen Explosion over the many millions of other choices you have, we’re packing up in our hotel in Melbourne Australia, ready to spend the day at a few more great Melbourne cafes and then head home.
We get in super late, but the Mosen Explosion must go on. Oh yes it must. And what a fun, unpredictable show it promises to be.
Since we’ve been spending a bit of time in Australia celebrating our wedding anniversary, which is actually this Tuesday, we’ll be playing a few extra Australian tracks on the show this week. Got any favourite Australian songs or artists? Be in touch with your suggestions, and ya just never know. You can email, call the listener line, or tweet.
Bonnie’s bulletin, if she wakes up in time, will be full of cool stuff relating to tours we’ve taken and fun things we’ve done in the metropolis of Melbourne.
I’ll be talking with great excitement about a rather awesome wedding anniversary present we’re getting from Paul McCartney! Golly!
And then, and then and then, there’s the matter of the Americas Cup. After thumping Team USA by over two minutes in race five today, giving us a four 0 lead, Team USA pulled off a narrow victory in race six, finally putting a point on the board. There is the provision in the rules for an extra race to be held tomorrow, so who knows, maybe we can finally win this thing back. But I am not jinxing it, no I am not. But if we did, I mean if we actually did, the Mosen Explosion is going to be one hell of a party.
Do join us at 2 Pm Eastern, 7 PM UK, bright and early at 6 AM in New Zealand, and of course even brighter and earlier at 4 AM in Eastern Australia, for The Mosen Explosion, only on the mighty Mushroom FM.
