Last week, we had a few technicals on Mushroom Escape during some of the most popular Small World listening times. They tried to explain it to me, and I think it’s something to do with the doodacky not properly working with the thingamabob widget on the whatchamacallit. Some people who were looking forward to the stories we were playing didn’t get to hear the whole show in full. Which made them sad. We don’t like that, so this week we will be taking a trip back in time all the way to last week in case you couldn’t hear the episode.

Affter you've enjoyed the 5th anniversary show of Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.

Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you what's in store on our fifth anniversary edition of Come by the Hills, Mushroom FM's premier Folk and Celtic music show! OF course, we'll be doing what we always do: playing three hours of amazing Folk and Celtic music for your listening pleasure, but I plan to make this a rather reflective show. Where have we been? Where are we going? You know, all the big questions in life. We'll also be taking some time to pay tribute to Nanci Griffith, who wrote some absolutely awesome songs and who sadly passed away last weekend.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

The Internet is a strange and not-always-wonderful thing. We here at Mushroom Escape have been blessed with rock-solid Internet access for over a decade. With that in mind, we recently, as many of you may know, changed the way we run Mushroom Escape so that it is not being completely run out of the station manager's living room using his personal Internet. It has been wonderful.

This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the talent of Australian band the Bee Gee's, although the claim to their heritage may be a little thin. We ask how deep is your love, here somejive talkin, and hear how I started a joke.

Join me at 4 PM Eastern Monday, 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia, or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Just ask your SmartThing for Mushroom FM and you will be there.

Toews On The Waves is a music and comedy show that has enjoyed a long run on internet radio. It's currently enjoying a limited revival on Mushroom FM Sunday evenings at 07:00 replaying Thursday mornings at 08:00. Usually hosted by Bruce Toews, it presents a theme that can be about anything.
Hi, I'm Steve Cutway, and I have the distinct pleasure of sitting in for Bruce for the next two weeks as he is unavailable through no fault of his own for reasons that are completely beyond his control. (That's his story and he's sticking to it.)

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

Hello! Sara Hillis here to invite you to join me for another three hours of awesome Folk and Celtic music on Come by the Hills! I've got a wide range of music for you as usual from traditional to modern and back again, and of course there's the banter!
