We're Celebrating Space This Week on The Richter Scale

On this day in 1969, Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. To celebrate, we're going to be playing songs about Space on this weeks episode of The Richter Scale!

Tune in at 6pm Eastern Today (or 3am on Sunday) to hear two live hours of the greatest Classic Rock Space Songs ever created by man! I'll need your help though, email me at, or tweet me @MosenRichard (being sure to use the #MushroomFM hashtag) to tell me what space songs you think deserve to be involved in the celebration!

To celebrate, we're going to have a very special episode of the Richter Scale! This Friday night, we'll be playing 100% Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman music, with plenty of facts, stories and other exciting Bat Out Of Hell Things!

It's also the Season 2 Finale of the Richter Scale, so this will be an episode you won't want to miss.

The Richter Scale Season Finale, This Friday!

This is it.

The Thirteenth episode of Season One of the Richter Scale.
This is the episode where we will find the answers to the questions we've been asking ourselves all season.

"Which version of blinded by the light is the proper version?"
"Can you set rules about what a band can call themselves?"
"Will our hero survive?"

All this and more will be revealed in this, the final episode of this season of the Richter Scale.
Don't worry though, Season Two will be starting next week with all new features and music.

Classic Classic Rock Classics this week on the Richter Scale

This week, you can tune in to The Richter Scale at to hear Richard Mosen playing two hours of some of the greatest classic rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's, all interjected with some fun live commentary and conversation.

The Richter Scale, Starting This Friday!

There are many great Rock Bands whose first albums are widely considered to be their best. Meat Loaf’s Bat out of Hell, The Doors’ eponymous album, Guns N' Roses’ Appetite for Destruction, etc. All these artists had more hits, but they never quite reached the lofty peaks they summited with their debut albums.

This Friday you can tune into the very first episode of The Richter Scale, Live on Mushroom FM. Will this be the best episode of The Richter Scale there will ever be? Gee, I sure hope not, but it’s probably worth tuning in just in case.
