Beatle Beat Returns. Monday, 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM UK.

In the olden days of Internet radio, I hosted a popular show called Beatle Beat, where we looked at the latest Beatle news, looked back at this week in Beatles history, played some very rare performances and documentaries, and most of all, played plenty of popular music by the fab four together and separately.

I'm delighted to be bringing this show back, this time right here to Mushroom FM. The show will air each week at 1 PM Eastern on a Monday, that's 6 PM in the UK. If you can't catch it at that time, never fear, it will be replayed periodically throughout the week. You can look at the Mushroom Fm schedule in your own time zone by heading over to http://MushroomFM.com/schedule.

In this first episode of a new series of Beatle Beat, we feature the EP, "Beatles Hits", released this week in 1963. Not sure what an EP was? I'll explain that too.

We'll talk about how the Beatles were attempting to recover from the death of their manager this week in 1967, and why "The Fool On The Hill", mixed this week in that year, has a recorder solo in it.

In news, we'll learn about two remastered albums from Paul about to hit the stores, find out what Ringo is doing on the small screen in the UK, hear of new exhibits opening at the Beatles Museum in Liverpool, and so much more.

There are plenty of other great little nuggets of Beatle info in the mix, as well as the best music ever made.

Do join me for Beatle Beat, right here on Mushroom FM. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
