It's The Mosen Explosion, "don't be a bozo" edition

It’s almost that time of the week again, where the Mosen Explosion gives you a full appreciation of the top quality radio you have access to for the other 164 hours of the week.

This week, it’s the “don’t be a bozo” edition. First, I am taking my own advice. Last week, after an incredibly hectic week with a crazy and event-filled journey home, I got completely confused about my dates and announced repeatedly, regularly and on multiple occasions that we’d be featuring the new mixes of The Beatles White Album this week. Well of course we won’t, because it isn’t out until the 9th. Don’t be a bozo. We will be all about the White Album next week though…We really will! Bah!

Second, we’re asking you this week to fess up to being a bozo and miss-hearing lyrics. Have you ever been absolutely convinced that a singer is singing something completely different from what they in fact are singing? You know, like, “you make me feel like a rash on a woman”! This week, I’d like to hear from you about songs that contain misheard lyrics. Of course, for this to work, you have to tell me what you think it is they were singing. Call into the listener line on 404-458-0645, tweet with #MushroomFM, or email me Jonathan at MushroomFM dot com.

Finally, don’t be a bozo and tune in at the wrong time. The clocks are going back in the USA this weekend. This means that if you’re in Europe and the UK, the time difference has been restored and we’re on at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK. If you’re in Australia, New Zealand, or anywhere on summer time, the time difference between the US and us has changed. So The Mosen Explosion now starts at 8 AM in New Zealand, 6 AM in Eastern Australia, which is actually not a bad time.

We’ll have our review of the audio described Nut Cracker ballet, look back at this day in history, and a lot more.

SO, don’t be a bozo and miss out on all the fun! It’s the Mosen Explosion, only on the mighty marvellous Mushroom FM.
