Excello Records this week on The Juke In The Back

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
Drop a nickel in the ol’ Rockola Juke as Matt The Cat dedicates the entire hour to the great little Nashville RB label, Excello Records. Ernie Young started Excello as a sister label to his Nashboro Label and both labels were housed in his Ernie’s Record Mart building in Nashville. For a city mostly known for Country Music, Nashville sure had a lot of great RB acts and we’re going to hear some of ’em this week. From The Marigolds to Arthur Gunter to Slim Harpo, Excello’s fantastic RB catalog is in the spotlight on the “Juke In The Back.”
Join Matt the Cat for Juke in the Back, tomorrow afternoon at 03:00 PM Eastern, between "Ringo's Yellow Submarine" and "Anne's Saturday Night Party", on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
