The Rolling Stone greatest songs of the 50s and 60s continue this week on The Early Years

Regular listeners to The Early Years know that I play the best variety of music from the 50s and 60s including music from before the rock era which is generally accepted as starting in 1955.
This week, I can truly say that I'm playing the top songs of the 50s and 60s as I continue counting down the greatest songs of the 50s and 60s according to Rolling Stone Magazine which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017. Not every song was a hit. You'll hear a considerable number of album cuts that I hope you'll enjoy, or at least find interesting.
I started this countdown two weeks ago at song 500. I've made it to song 383 which is where I'll pick up the countdown. But first, I will remember Edwin Hawkins who passed away last Monday with two songs featuring the Edwin Hawkins Singers.
So join me, Steve Cutway, as I continue counting down the greatest songs of the 50s and 60s, as chosen by Rolling Stone Magazine, on The Early Years, tonight at 6 PM Eastern, before Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis. If you miss the show tonight, catch its replay Wednesday morning at 7 AM Eastern, before Mushroom Munch, on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of musical mushroom memories. Long live Rock and Roll!
