How did the show become Sit and Spin?

As a child one of my all time favorite toys was the Sit&Spin. I could spend hours on that fun thing with a walkman practicly atached to my head. :)

Now that I have grown up I still love to sit and spin so to speak.

That's right I sit here and spin a wide variety of music.

Features

Along with spinning a wide varioty of tunes, a few more fun features have been woven into the show.

Knowledge Nuggit

It has often been said that one of the most important things a person can do is "learn something new every day."

With the Knowledge Nuggit, I hope to aid in that very process.

You may be presented with a random tip or trick that can make life easier. It is also possable that I may ask a trivia question that, in the grand scheme of things may appear to be "useless." True, it may not help you "save the world," but it may very well serve as an interesting ice braker, or may even win you a Pie in a rough and tough game of Trivial Pursuit.

Stop that Spinning and Pay Attention Please?

Sometimes the lyrics of a song prove themselves to be attention grabbing.

They can make a person just stop whatever he/she is doing and leave a lasting impression.

In this segment I hope to play songs that do exactly this.

The Wind Down

At the end of the day, or in this case the show, it's nice and sometimes even necessary to just wind down or to reflect on a multitude of things, people, and events.

It is my hope that the songs used in this feature aid in that process.

The "And Finally..." segment that has long been a part of his Music Machine was a source of amazing insparation for me as I build my own show.
