Thanks for visiting our page. My name's Gordon Luke and every Thursday along with my good friend John Glass we host Mushroom FM's weekly live music show Live Through the Luking Glass. As the name suggests most things we play have been recorded live in concert. That means we want every program to have the fun and excitement you get when you're hearing great music live. So why not drop by and give us a listen. We're on air every Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm Eastern (that's 7 pm to 10 pm in the UK).

I first met John over 16 years ago on his wedding day (our wives have been friends since they were wee girls). Up until that point John's musical tastes have been allowed to develop in all sorts of random directions ranging from very heavy rock to James Last. After that he's been reined in by his good lady but that wild man is still desperate to get out! In comparison my tastes are more middle of the road ranging from prog rock to folk. Hopefully between us we'll play something you'll like. If not that's where you come in - tell us what you like and we'll endeavour to play it for you. If you like what you're hearing then let us know that too. In fact just get in touch and we'll give you a mention.

Features

Occasionally we’ll have a featured concert from which we play several tracks and perhaps chat to a listener or two via Skype about their memories and what they liked. So please let us know which concerts you’ve enjoyed in the past and we’ll help to relive them with you, and even give you the chance to "wax lyrical" on the air. It need not necessarily be a concert you were at in person, you may have seen it on TV or it may even be a favourite live album.
