Welcome to the home page for Child's Play, heard on Mushroom FM every Sunday at 6 PM Eastern. If you are young or young at heart, you'll find lots to enjoy on Child's Play. Every Sunday, I'll present an hour of children's music, stories and drama old and new. From Spike Jones to Sarah Pirtle, Rusty In Orchestra Ville to Raffi, Winnie-The-Pooh to the Wizard of Oz, you'll find it all on Child's Play. You'll also hear special features such as On Your Feet and Multiple Versions, and frequent appearances by my eleven-year-old son Max will keep things lively and interesting. Requests are welcome, and you'll be able to participate in other ways as time goes by. So add some Child's Play to your Sunday!

Round at Woody and Jon's

On Tuesday, Jon and I filled in for Dave and Emma, who were unable to do their show. Our theme was books and writing, and we chatted and played a variety of music on that theme. You'll find a link to the show in the Podcasts section at the bottom of this page.

Coming on Sunday's Show

Max is doing theater camp in Kansas City this week, so we'll talk about that. There's no other particular theme, so we'll be glad to play whatever kid-friendly songs or stories you'd like to hear.
