The Mosen Explosion, the Show that Rings a Bell

Yesh folksh, we're back with another Mosen Explosion, where the station that puts a sparkle in your ear brings you a programme of unprecedented goodies.

Today would have been Alexander Graham Bell's birthday, and by an incredible coincidence, it's also the anniversary of the founding of AT&T. So, all this is just too great a temptation to resist talking about telephones. Now we know that many in our audience are blind, and there just seems to be something about blind people and the telephone. Blind kids just seem to do crazy stuff with phones. So we'll talk about phones of all kinds, things you did as a kid, different kinds of phones you've had, cell phones you've used over the years, and of course, play a few phone related songs.

We'll look back on this day in history, play your requests, and much more. It all happens right after 60's 70's Sunday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, only on the tremendous http://MushroomFm.com

The Mosen Explosion, Live from the Hotel California

There's something cool about a remote broadcast from a different location. This week, the Mosen Explosion comes from sunny San Diego, and it's a bumper edition.

Since we find ourselves in California, we'll be playing plenty of California-related tunes, and it's amazing just how many there are!

It's a very special birthday that we've already celebrated on the station, but you can't celebrate it enough. The 24th of February would have been George Harrison's 70th birthday, so you can be sure we'll hear plenty of George in various capacities.

And you know, the birthday book for February 24 is absolutely full of amazing musicians celebrating. It's so big that we could almost do an entire four hour show based on today in history alone.

There's plenty of room for your requests, tweets and emails. So I hope you'll join me at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, live from the hotel California, only on http://MushroomFM.com
