We have all her hits and some rarities. We have the great songs from the early 1960's.

We'll have all her hits - Both Sides Now, Amazing Grace and Send IN The Clowns - as well as other stunning interpretations. In the second hour, we zoom in on Collins own writing.

The Land Sings: A Re-Run

Hello all-
I was in Tauranga, New Zealand, for much of the week. On top of that i seem to have a cold I picked up down there. So, The Land Sings this week will be a re-run of last week's show about trains and stuff.
It's still on at the same time - 11pm ET on Thursday and replayed throughout the week.
I'll see you all in the salon car on MushroomFM's birthday weekend and next week for a brand new The Land Sings.

Hello All-
Tomorrow is St. patrick's Day in the USA. Of course, here in New Zealand where I am, it's happening today. none the less, The Land Sings is going green tomorrow.

We'll have Irish everything - love, hate, alzheimers and, of course those great rebel songs about the Irish question. God bless England.... not!

Inauguration of The Land Sings

Hello All-
Mara Kelland here and I'd like to invite you to listen to the inauguration of a new programme on MushroomFM called The Land Sings.

This is a two-hour long programme of folk music both traditional and modern. In this first programme we have music from Tom Paxton, Joan Baez, Anne Hills and more. We go back in to history with the anthracite miners and we have waxing political in the second hour.
