Hi everyone, we're pleased to say that our streaming server provider has resolved it's issue and we're back up and running ready to entertain you. Thanks for your patience.

Hi everyone, it's Jonathan letting you know that at present, Mushroom FM is off the air. This is due to an outage with the provider of our streaming media servers, which is the last link in the chain that sees what we broadcast making it to you.
All our own systems over which we have control are working perfectly. This means that once the issue is resolved by our streaming server provider, everything should return to normal by itself. That's good, since it's late in the evening here in New Zealand and it's time to get some rest.

Kia ora Mosen At Largers.
It’s another bumper edition of Mosen at Large to keep you informed, make you think, and even provide a bit of entertainment too. As always, you are very welcome to help make it a great show through sending in a contribution.
There’s plenty on the show this weekend and here are just a few of the things we’ll cover.
Australia signed into law its new code involving big tech and big media. There’s more listener feedback on this and some further comments from me in one of the most significant threats to an open Internet we have ever faced.

Kia ora Mosen At Largers.
I’ve been a bit prolific in the podcast feed this week, which means that when I publish the podcast version of the live Mushroom FM show, it will be episode 100.
This show has taken off in astounding ways and I can only say a profound thanks for all the discussion and contributions that have made that possible. We’ve debated, helped each other out, reminisced and had a few laughs, and I think that is very special.

Kia ora Mosen At Largers.
I have been glued to every minute, yes literally every minute, of the impeachment in the US this week. That’s a challenge when you have a very busy fulltime job so I will explain how I did it. I’m not sure I am using the perfect system yet, so you may like to improve the system I outline.

6 February is Waitangi Day, New Zealand's national day which celebrates the signing of the treaty between the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand and European settlers.
As has become something of a tradition, we have a special Waitangi Day show where you can hear some great New Zealand music from our four decades of magic mushroom memories, and perhaps a little beyond that on occasion.
If you're a regular Mushroom FM listener, you'll hear some familiar songs but there'll be plenty that will be new to you. And if you're a New Zealander, it'll bring back many memories.

Kia ora Mosen at largers. Listeners have been incredibly busy this week, sending in contributions and I truly appreciate it. But don’t let that put you off, I’m still keen to hear what’s on your mind regarding anything you think might be of interest to the Mosen At Large family.

Outside, a storm is coming, the wind is blowing, and it seems like the perfect time to return from a long relaxing summer break.
Still going strong after over 20 years, The Mosen Explosion is back with you exclusively on Mushroom FM with me, Jonathan Mosen, every week day. You have two opportunities to hear it, first at 2 AM North American Eastern time, and repeated 12 hours later, 2 PM Eastern. That works out at 7 UK, and presently 8 in New Zealand.
