Hello, and thanks for taking a look at my page.

About me

There’s not a huge amount to say, except that I’m Welsh, a happily-married house-wife, and thanks to Mushroom FM, now a broadcasting addict! I love playing the songs I know my listeners want to hear, and interacting with you during my shows via Twitter or email. I am a friendly sort of person, so my shows tend to be about a lot more than just playing music.

About the show

As the title suggests, this show is all about praise and worship. I will be playing an inspiring mixture of songs from all genres, ranging from the traditional hymns we all know and love, right through to the so-called 'Contemporary' Christian music. There will be plenty of room for requests, and listener interaction. Welsh people are known for our chattiness, and I am no exception, so along-side the music, I probably won't be able to resist weaving in a few stories, mainly from my every-day life and past experiences. Why not contribute a few of your own!

Regular Features

Every week, we will find out together what is currently the song at Number 1 in the Christian chart. We will also share either a short scripture reading, poem, or devotional thought.

This week!

On 31 January, which will be my first show in my new time slot, I will be leaving hours 1 and 3 of the show wide open for requests, but during hour 2, I'll be concluding the theme of Christian story songs which I started last Tuesday.

How you can help

As well as sending in your requests, you can help me by telling me what your favourite scriptures, inspirational poems, and anything of that nature are, so I can Endeavour to include them as weekly readings. If you wish to, you could even send me an audio recording to use in future shows.

About the show

This show will be an ideal way to start your Saturday morning, as I’ll wake you up in a gentle manner befitting the weekend. I’ll be playing love songs, story songs, and anything else which could be considered sentimental. What makes a song sentimental, I hear you ask. I think that in general, it’s the memories we associate with the song in question. It doesn’t necessarily have to have moving lyrics; it may just remind you of an event, or a person who has made an important contribution to your life.

How You Can Help

I will also feature a number of theme shows, during which I will ask for audio contributions from listeners. It is this audio which will make these shows a success, so please keep sending it along.
