Hello! Sara hillis here once again, letting you know that I'm back this week with another antic edition of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic Music Show! I think it's safe to say that our collection of music this week is ecclectic, to say the least. We've got songs about rivers, a couple of Mulls (yes, including a certain Mull we all know and love here at Mushroom FM,) a few songs about kings, some songs about maids, and to even things out, a few songs about men.

Way back on August 8, 2016, I wrote this:

"Exciting news! The Celts will soon be invading the home of the fun guys! For three hours every Sunday night, jigs, reels and balads will be the order of the day as I serve up the best in Celtic music from around the world. Not only will I be playing traditional favourites which defined the genre, but also new songs inspired by tradition which have changed it forever.

There will be lots of fun features for you to enjoy, interesting info about your favourite artists and groups, and of course plenty of room for your requests.

Hello! Sara Hillis here with great news! Come by the Hills is coming to you live this week after many weeks of pre-recorded shows! IN fact, it's going to be so live that I have no idea exactly what we'll be playing yet. However, be sure that it'll be three hours of great Folk and Celtic music, and me, uh, live! What will happen? How exactly will the show play out? We won't know until it's on the air!

Sara Hillis here, busy ironing my Saturday clothes for tomorrow's dance with Steve Cutway--in which I always take the lead, of course--otherwise known as this week's edition of Come by the Hills, to tell you what's coming up in the three Folkish hours which precede Steve's fabulous show, The Early Years. We'll have a little bit of Buffy Sainte-Marie on the occasion of her retirement from live performing, some Me Music, and a lot of great Folk and Celtic tunes for your enjoyment.
